Global Life Sciences, Standards and the Information Value ChainThe LSCP MissionWe will continuously improve our methods to help customer’s identify their new business opportunities and objectives. We will consider and together develop new processes with measurable outcome and emerging technologies that enable and deliver business value while reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Openness, agility, reliability, trust and professionalism are our guiding principles. The Changing LandscapeThe implementation of global standards such as eCTD has substantially changed the way regulated and corporate Information Management is handled across business functions. Regulators start to request a higher level of content granularity. It has moved away from point solutions toward an enterprise approach about how content of any type can be effectively created, re-used and managed in the future. Business processes are being redefined based on outcome objectives. Solutions are being reevaluated to achieve a reduction in TCO and to achieve better results. This condition has heavily influenced the way we approach our business and achieve our objectives: LSCP Global Management StatementBridge the gap between business needs and the robust capabilities of Off-the-Shelf (OTS) technology to meet the changing business model of a successful enterprise.Since its inception in March 2004, LSCP has grown considerably in market recognition. We are a global, professional network of 58 business and technology analysts (Subject Matter Experts or SMEs) with high profiles in each one’s major domain. It is vital that our team of professionals is built with strong domain and standards knowledge. We work together based on a common methodology that will maximize the value of information. As global standards emerge, we assist in their development, or at least incorporate them into our strategies and communications. We strive to apply a holistic view on all challenges. The business landscape is always changing as well as the technology. We focus on the optimal flow of content or it's components in the Information Value Chain for re-use or re-purposing and how automation might improve it on each lower level. LSCP is constantly evaluating technology providers that can sustainably meet the needs of the business in the future: Recognizing the Value of Enterprise Information Assets! LSCP has developed and adapted an “hourglass” methodology: Define, Apply and Execute to enable a pragmatic approach by visualizing business requirements (What, when, where) and enabling technology leaders (how) and to give users a good feeling about what the new horizon could look like. |
